We encourage awareness on <strong>global\nchanges<\/strong> in our communities by focusing on local impacts, and provide\ncitizens with information and tools to make small but effective changes in their\n<strong>daily behavior<\/strong><strong> toward a sustainable relationship with the planet<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We develop Citizen Science Laboratories\nand Scientific Campuses to share and create new knowledge with students (from\nmedium school to university) and families. We also organize <strong>dissemination\nevents<\/strong> in person and online &#8211; workshops, seminars, conference,\nscientific aperitif\/dinner \u2013 to reach out to adults and corporations to\nmobilize collective intelligence to solve today\u2019s problems. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our active members have scientific and professional backgrounds in biology, circular economy, book publishing, environmental issues, geology, mathematics and more. They are active researchers, educators, and science communicators and periodically write original <strong>informative and educational articles<\/strong> for our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.semidiscienza.it\/category\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"blog (apre in una nuova scheda)\">blog<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, we organized a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.semidiscienza.it\/farmacovid\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>crowdfunding campaign<\/strong> for the project #FarmaCovid<\/a> in collaboration with ICGEB and IBF and raised 16.000 \u20ac to support medical research to develop an effective drug against Covid-19. <br> <br> We always look forward to start new activities and collaborations.
